Pre Care Instructions

6 WEEKS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Be mindful of the skincare you're using. Most products that are designed to lighten, fade, brighten, tighten or prevent aging will strongly impact your permanent makeup.

We ask that you discontinue the use of ALL Chemical Exfoliating treatments and products, including but not limited to Retin-A, Retinol, Niacinamide, Benzoyl Peroxide, Kojic Acid, Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA), Azelaic Acid, Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid, ALL Acne treating products, and products with high contents of Citrus Fruit Acids at least 6 weeks prior.

Eyebrow and eyelash growth serums should be discontinued 6 weeks prior to your appointment if receiving eyebrow or eyeliner services.

2 WEEKS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Botox and filler on the forehead, temple, and eye area should be avoided 2 weeks prior to procedure.

Antibiotics, steroids and other medications will greatly impact healed results. Clients are encouraged to avoid these 2 weeks prior to appointment.

Eyebrow tinting should be discontinued 14 days prior.

ONE WEEK BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure.

Lash extensions must be removed if you are receiving eyeliner or lash enhancement procedures.

Contact lens will need to be removed if receiving eyeliner or lash enhancement procedures.

If receiving eyebrow services, we encourage you to have your eyebrows groomed prior to your appointment to avoid unnecessary skin irritation. However, no brow waxing, tweezing or threading 72 hours prior.

If receiving permanent lip blushing or watercolor lip services, lips must be properly exfoliated, healthy and hydrated. If there's a history of cold sores you must contact your primary care physician to start a prescription of anti viral medication. Failure to take required medication will result in a breakout post procedure that will greatly impact healed results.

48 HOURS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Ask your physician if you can discontinue the use of ALL NSAIDs, Aspirin, Niacin, or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before procedure. Choosing to take medications such as these prior to your procedure will make your blood thin, which will cause bleeding during your procedure. Blood pushes the pigment out of place and results in poor pigment retention.

Discontinue the use of Vitamin E, Fish Oil, Vitamins, "Hair, Skin, Nail" supplements 48 hours prior to procedure.

Blood pressure, thyroid and other daily medications may strongly impact healed results.

24 HOURS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Do not work out 24 hours before procedure

NO alcohol or caffeine 24 hours before procedure, please note that decaffeinated drinks sometimes has small amounts of caffeine which will affect your procedure. Ignoring this request will cause your blood to be thin and results in poor pigment retention.

We require a bare face on the day of your appointment. Your face should be free of all makeup. Lash extensions must be removed if you are receiving eyeliner or lash enhancement procedures.
